Porch Placemaking Week
As the COVID-19 Pandemic took hold around the world, the team at CoDesign Studios in Melbourne came up with Porch Placemaking Week. What started as a tool to connect people in local neighbourhoods became a global exploration of community, connection and culture.
Why I tell stories
In 2015, I felt like I lost everything. Since then, I have been rebuilding my life through story - from looking longingly at a liquor cabinet to finding what makes my heart tick.
We just want to be loved, and to be loved we have to be seen. Being seen is the light at the end of the tunnel. Seeing others, and hearing their stories is why I make images and now video, to tell stories.

Bailee-Rose is a dancer and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. This 4 minute micro-documentary explores her journey as a transfeminine dancer - working in an industry that is highly gender specific.
